Automatic collection of general information

When you visit our website, our webserver collects some general information such as the website from which you visited us, your IP address, the websites which you visit when you are with us, and the name of your internet service provider.

This information is analyzed anonymously and used in summary form rather than on an individual basis. From the data collected, we are able to learn how many people visit our site, which pages they view, which websites they are referred from, etc. In short, the data helps us determine the extent to which visitors use certain parts of our Web site.

The information gathered is used for improving the general website experience such as the ease of use and attractiveness of our website. Should we at any time pass on this data to external service providers, we also ensure that they observe data protection regulations, as well.

IP Addresses

We collect and analyze traffic on our Web site by keeping track of the IP addresses of our visitors.  An IP address is the unique numeric identifier assigned to each computer browser accessing the Internet.  An IP address, by itself, cannot identify you personally.  However, when combined with other information provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your IP address can be used to identify the computer originating a message.

Collection of Personal data

We will collect and process personal data when you provide us with this in the course of using our website. Certain activities such as registration, filling out forms or sending queries and making an online transaction or inquiry will prompt you to release your personal data.

Your personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties, however, we may need to disclose your personal data to third parties only after your consent in the event that

  • we sell or liquidate any part of our business or assets;
  • We will disclose or share your personal data to comply with any legal obligation, or to enforce or apply our Terms of Use; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ACAL consulting, our clients, or others.

You can adjust your consent for the use of your personal data at any time with an email to the effect that you revoke your consent in the future by filling in the form given at the end of this page.
