Introduction to the Fundamentals of

Public - Private Partnerships

Empowering Public - Private sectors for PPP projects

Through Vision 2030, the Government of Kenya aims at making Kenya a middle income country by the year 2030. The provision of public infrastructure and social services that will support economic growth and development remains a critical agenda. The fiscal constraints have caused the need for new and innovative approaches to the provision and financing of public infrastructure and services.

The adoption of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) framework heralds a new era for Kenya to improve the quality, quantity, cost-effectiveness and timely provision of much needed public infrastructure and services supplementing the traditional role of government as the primary provider of such infrastructure and services. This framework provides a huge opportunity for institutions in this sector. To successfully achieve efficient PPP service delivery, capacity building of professionals in both private and public sectors of the economy is not critical but also very urgent.

ACAL Consulting is a distinguished local consulting and training firm in Kenya. We have been demonstrating competences in the infrastructure sector and strategy. Our clients both public and private cut across all sectors of the economy giving us an opportunity to be part of Kenya’s socio-economic development. ACAL Consulting is delighted to announce a foundation course in PPP dubbed Introduction to the Fundamentals of Public - Private Partnerships.
